Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam and veteran Bengali actor Victor Banerjee are among the 35 personalities who were conferred with the Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Awards under the Arts category in 2022. Sonu Nigam has had a stellar career in Bollywood and has sung thousands of songs.

Besides Sonu Nigam, musician Ballesh Bhajantri, singer Madhuri Barthwal and filmmaker Chandraprakash Dwivedi have been conferred with the Padma Shri Award this year.
