Sonam Kapoor knows how to make her loved ones feel special. On her mother-in-law Priya Ahuja’s birthday today, February 26, the actress shared lovely throwback pictures from her and Anand Ahuja’s sangeet ceremony, and wished her mom-in-law. She also wrote a heartfelt note for her.
Anand Ahuja proposed Sonam Kapoor for marriage in August 2017 in New York. The couple tied the knot the next year. Sonam is very close to her in laws. On Anand’s mom’s birthday, she shared a special post and wished her.
Sonam wrote, “Happy happy birthday mom! Have the best year month and day! So blessed to have you in my life the positive, kind and open energy you give. Love you @priya27ahuja (sic).”
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot on May 8, 2018 in a Punjabi wedding ceremony, in Mumbai. Anand is a businessman, who founded the luxury clothing brand, Bhane. He also started India's first multi-brand sneaker boutique called VegNonVeg. Reportedly, the couple met through a mutual friend, Pernia Qureshi. The couple grabbed attention when they attended the success party of Rustom together back in 2016. It was their first public appearance.
