Kohli has not had the opportunity to play competitive cricket at the senior level in Pakistan as India and its Asian neighbors haven't been playing bilateral cricket since 2012-13.
Notably, Kohli has not scored a hundred in international cricket since November 2019. The former India captain, who has 70 hundreds, has been going through a middling patch, especially in Test cricket. However, Kohli showed signs of a return to form in the recently-concluded T20I series against the West Indies, hitting a match-winning fifty in the 2nd T20I.
Kohli, it seemed, was trying to move away from his accumulator role and take up a more aggressive approach as he went after the West Indies bowling attack from the word go even as he kept losing partners.
