Some of the umpires will sleep better: AB de Villiers jokes during tribute speech for Virat Kohli

IPL 2021: RCB star AB de Villiers joked during his tribute speech to Virat Kohli that some of the umpires will sleep a bit better after Kohli has stepped down as RCB captain.

Virat Kohli was seen arguing with on-field umpire Virender Sharma in a crunch IPL 2021 Eliminator against Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday. During the crucial game, the umpire had given a few decisions against RCB that were overturned.

Later, Royal Challengers Bangalore star AB de Villiers paid tribute to outgoing captain Virat Kohli in a video posted by the franchise on its official Twitter handle. Kohli's nine-year stint as skipper of the RCB ended with a four-wicket loss to Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator of the 2021 Indian Premier League in Sharjah on Monday.
