The Bombay High Court has refused anticipatory bail to a judicial magistrate who was allegedly involved in a bribery case. While passing an order, the court said an investigation must be carried out thoroughly and that society's faith in the judicial system should not be shaken by such instances.
The Bombay High Court has refused anticipatory bail to a judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) who was allegedly involved in a bribery case. The judicial magistrate first class was holding the post at Wadgaon, Maval Court when the allegation of bribery was levelled against her. It is alleged that for passing an order in favour of one party, a bribe was demanded and her associate accepted the bribe. The bench of Justice Sarang Kotwal said "this is a very serious case" in which a judicial officer is sought to be arrested.More Related News
