Social Media Warns Maya Rudolph Not To Do This 1 Thing On 'SNL' This Week

Elections have consequences, even for comedy shows.
It’s hard to say how “Saturday Night Live” will riff on the election results this week, but some people have named one thing they hope the show doesn’t do.
As results in favor of President-elect Donald Trump rolled in Tuesday night, people couldn’t help but recall a similar feeling as 2016, when he prevailed over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton — and the polarizing sketch that followed.
For those with a short memory, the first “SNL” episode after Trump won the 2016 election featured Kate McKinnon dressed as Clinton performing “Hallelujah.”
Tuesday night’s echoes of 2016 made some on social media wonder if Maya Rudolph, who has been portraying Vice President Kamala Harris on the long-running comedy show, would take a seat at the piano.
Rudolph was recently joined by the Democratic presidential candidate during the show’s cold open in its most recent episode.
