Snow squall warning issued for the London area

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning, with rain turning into snow and strong winds starting this afternoon.
The warning says high winds will move into the London area, gusting from 40 to 70 km/h with poor visibility into the evening.
The London area will get around 5 cm of snow, while the northeast region around Lake Huron may get up to 10 cm, according to the weather service.
Environment Canada suggests that Londoners prepare for travel accordingly.
"Slow down, keep a lot of distance between you and the driver because the road conditions will become slippery, icy as the temperature falls below zero," Peter Kimbell, who's with Environment Canada, said Monday.
Conditions are expected to improve later tonight going into Tuesday morning.
