Snowy conditions experienced in the London area over the past 24 hours will persist well into Wednesday.
According to CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison, as much as 10 centimetres is projected as we head into the afternoon, with squalls creating varied conditions throughout the region, “The bulk of it though will be through southern Huron County right through Middlesex County.”
As of Wednesday morning, snow squall warnings are in effect for Huron County, London and Eastern Middlesex County, Northern Grey County, Southern Bruce County and Eastern Lambton County. Western Middlesex County is under a snow squall watch.
With so much in the mix making the weather, Atchison says that snow throughout the rest of the week is not set in stone, “one thing that's not changing over the next seven days, temperatures will average below normal.”
If you’re getting sick of shoveling, look forward to the end of the week, “Thursday will be our break day from the snow squalls. We'll still have some flurries around, but expecting some sunshine,” said Atchison.
