Six people injured in Brooklyn after car jumps curb

Six people were injured — three seriously — Friday afternoon when a car jumped the curb in Brooklyn and plowed into pedestrians on the sidewalk, officials said.

The multi-vehicle accident happened just before 1 p.m. at Flatlands Avenue and Flatbush Avenue in the Flatland neighborhood, according to the FDNY. Three people were taken to area hospitals for serious but non-life-threatening injuries and three others for minor injuries, fire officials said.
