Six deaths, 823 Covid-19 cases in Qatar on April 18

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 823 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 713 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 173,970.

Out of 823 new cases, 636 are community cases and 187 from travellers returning from abroad. The ministry also announced six deaths of people 49, 50, 63, 70, 88 and 90 years old, taking the total death toll as of today to 382. Four of them had chronic diseases and all of them received necessary medical care, MoPH said.
