SIT probing Jharkhand judge’s death searches 53 hotels, questions 243 suspects

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing Jharkhand judge Uttam Anand's death searched 53 hotels and questioned as many as 243 suspects since Saturday night in connection with the case.

The Special Investigation Team (SIT), formed to probe the hit-and-run death of Dhanbad District Judge Uttam Anand, searched 53 hotels at different locations and interrogated 243 suspects since Saturday night. In addition, 17 persons were arrested and over 250 auto-rickshaws seized in a major drive after their owners could not produce their documents to the police.
