SIT formed to probe Sidhu Moose Wala murder case

An SIT has been formed to probe the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.
On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and DGP VK Bhavra, an SIT has been formed to probe the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala.
IG (Bathinda range) Pradeep Yadav has constituted a three-member SIT. Mansa's SP (Investigation) Dharamveer Singh, Bathinda DSP (Investigation) Vishwajit Singh and Mansa CIA in-charge Prithvipal Singh have been included in the SIT.
Punjab DGP has directed IG Bathinda Range Pradeep Yadav, SSP Mansa Gaurav Tura and SSP Bathinda to camp in Mansa.

Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Mansa district on Sunday, May 29. This came a day after the Punjab Police withdrew security of 424 people, including Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder. Brar, who has close ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, said in a Facebook post that he had killed Moose Wala to avenge the death of gangster Vicky Middukhera.
