Swastika Mukherjee has slammed trade analyst Taran Adarsh for omitting her name while mentioning the film's cast in his tweet. She wrote that Qala belongs to her too.
Fans are eagerly waiting for Netflix's upcoming film titled Qala. It stars Babil Khan and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles, while Swastika Mukherjee plays a pivotal part. Swastika has now responded after a tweet by trade analyst-critic Taran Adarsh didn't mention her in Qala's film cast. After Taran tweeted tagging Tripti and Babil, Swastika replied introducing herself and asked him to add her 'small name along with the big ones.' She also said that Qala belongs to her as well.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Taran Adarsh wrote, "QALA: SNEAK PEEK INTO ANVITAA DUTT'S DIRECTORIAL... #Qala - #AnvitaaDutt's directorial - showcased a snippet of a song called #PheroNaNajariya at #NetflixFilmsDay event... Stars @tripti_dimri23 and #BabilKhan, who debuts with this film (sic)."
Replying to his tweet, Swastika Mukherjee wrote, "Sir, my name is Swastika Mukherjee, #Qala belongs to me as well, I don’t hail from Mumbai but have been working for 22 years now, it would be great if you mention my small name along with the BIG ONES. Thank you in advance (sic)," along with folded hands emoji.
