Over the last 24 hours, Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu held a series of meetings with ministers and Opposition leaders to broker peace. Finally, today at a meeting organised by Naidu, the two warring sides agreed on allowing eight items of business, including 7 bills, for passage in the Upper House.
