Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanem on Tuesday met with a number of members of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union and Secretary-General of the Union, Fayez Al-Shawabkeh, who participated in the first coordination meeting of the parliamentary assemblies to combat terrorism being held in Doha. During the meeting, they discussed the existing bilateral relations between the Shura Council and the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, and a number of issues related to joint Arab parliamentary coordination. The meeting was attended by Deputy Speaker of the Council HE Dr Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti and a number of members of the Council. (QNA)
