Shreyas Iyer is recuperating from a surgery that he underwent last month after partially dislocating his left shoulder in the ODI series against England in March.
India middle-order batsman Shreyas Iyer is on the road to recovery from his shoulder injury and has already started working out whenever possible amid the ongoing lockdown in Mumbai due to the coronavirus pandemic. Iyer partially dislocated his shoulder during the ODI series against England in March which ruled him out of the subsequent Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. He underwent a surgery on the left shoulder on April 8 and at the time, his recovery was expected to take at least 5 months. Fortunately for the Delhi Capitals captain, the sport has once again come to a halt in India due to the dangerous second wave of Covid-19 which even forced the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to suspended the IPL 2021 indefinitely so Iyer is not missing much of the action after all.More Related News
