Shot by unidentified gunmen, J&K Police constable succumbs in Srinagar

A police constable was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on Sunday evening.

A police constable was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on Sunday evening. Unequivocally condemn the cowardly & dastardly attack on 29 year old policeman in Batmaloo, Srinagar in which he lost his life. No words of condemnation would be enough! May Allah grant him a place in Jannat. Our hearts go out to his family and friends at this time of grief.

The 29-year-old policeman, identified as Tausif Ahmad, succumbed to bullet injuries after being shot with a pistol at close range in SD Colony in Batamaloo area.
