A senior police officer told India Today TV that fresh firing has resumed at the encounter site after a lull of 24 hours. The officer further said that the gunfight has entered the third day. India Today TV had earlier reported that top Jaish commander for Shopian district is believed to be among the trapped militants. On Sunday, local Lashkar militant Jahangir Ahmad was killed in the fierce gunfight at the spot.More Related News
