Expressing shock over an incident in which a minor, who was allegedly raped, was left on a railway platform, the Bombay High Court ordered the Mumbai Police to trace the girl and shift her to a rehabilitation centre. The court made the observation while hearing the bail petition of the accused, who claimed that he was behind bars even after 33 months. The minor was allegedly raped in an autorickshaw in 2018. A single-judge bench of Justice Bharti Dangre said Directive Principles of State Policy provide for “protection of youth from any kind of exploitation”.More Related News
