Farah Khan mourns the untimely demise of singer KK. He passed away in Kolkata on May 31.
Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, passed away on May 31 after suffering a cardiac arrest. The legendary singer, 53, was at a concert in Kolkata. He was rushed to a hospital after he collapsed post the concert and was pronounced dead shortly after. His passing away shocked the entire nation. The singer was known to be 'media shy' and has gifted us with some iconic songs, namely Tadap Tadap to Aankhon Mein Teri. Director-choreographer Farah Khan mourns his death and spoke to IndiaToday.in about her memories of the singer.
KK has sung many songs for Farah Khan's movies, including Chale Jaise Hawayein from her debut film Main Hoon Na. Remembering him today, she told IndiaToday.in, "I am still in shock. He sang some of the iconic songs for my films.. notably chalein jaise hawaayein & aankhon mein teri Ajab si.. I found him to be very real and un-filmy.. I send prayers and condolences to his family.. "

Singer KK has sung in many languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam. KK shot to fame with his debut album Pal, released in 1999. From Akshay Kumar, Kamal Haasan to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, everyone has condoled his passing.
KK was last seen on television on The Kapil Sharma Show alongwith Shaan and Palash Sen. His videos from last night's concert have been going viral as fans mourn his untimely demise.
