Shock ‘Good Morning Football’ move to Los Angeles surprised show’s talent

The NFL blindsided its own staff.
NFL Network’s popular show “Good Morning Football” announced on Thursday that it is moving from New York to Los Angeles.
But the decision caught the show’s talent — host Jamie Erdahl and analysts Kyle Brandt, Jason McCourty and Peter Schrager — by surprise, and the show now faces a dilemma regarding whether or not the talent moves to the West Coast along with it, according to The Athletic.
They all live on the East Coast and have children, the report added, and the show didn’t inform them of the move until earlier last week, asking them to uproot their lives along with it.
Starting March 29, the show will take a break and relaunch from its new site in the summer.
The show will then use the NFL’s West Coast media headquarters in Inglewood, Calif., according to the outlet, where NFL Network’s “Total Access” and “GameDay” shows are filmed and is expected to air for two hours from 8-10 a.m. ET.
