Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) chief Shivpal Yadav praised UP CM Yogi Adityanath for his honesty and took a jibe at the leader of the Opposition, Akhilesh Yadav.
After the Yogi government 2.0 presented its first budget in the assembly, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) chief Shivpal Yadav praised Uttar Pradesh's CM Yogi Adityanath and took a jibe at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.
Pointing at Akhilesh’s seat, Shivpal said, “If the opposition had taken part in the poll with us, we would have been sitting there and those of the ruling party would have been sitting here.”
On this statement of Shivpal Yadav, along with the ruling party, the SP MLAs also applauded.
Shivpal said, “That's why I want to give the example that I formed the Progressive Samajwadi Party and I also announced 100 candidates two years ago. Had he given tickets to 100 of our candidates, he would have sat there.”
In the assembly session, Shivpal Yadav had the opportunity to speak at a time when the leader of the Opposition, Akhilesh Yadav, was not present.
Shivpal Yadav also said the Uttar Pradesh chief minister is honest and hardworking.
The PSPL leader said the ruling party cannot ensure the state’s development alone and everyone should chip in.
