Shiv Sena will 'definitely' contest Goa polls, likely to field candidates in UP: MP Sanjay Raut

Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that the Shiv Sena would "definitely" contest the 2022 Goa Assembly polls, adding that the party was likely to field candidates in Uttar Pradesh as well.
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said on Sunday that his party would "definitely" contest the 2022 Goa Assembly polls in about 20 seats. He added that the Shiv Sena was also planning to field candidates in 80 to 90 seats in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections as they have "the support of farmers' organisations and smaller parties" in the state. “In Goa, we are definitely contesting the elections. We plan to contest about 20 seats in Goa. In Uttar Pradesh, too, we are planning to contest 80 to 90 seats. For Goa, efforts are on to explore a formula like the MVA. Let’s see if we succeed,” Sanjay Raut said.More Related News
