Shiv Sena on Saturday adopted six resolutions as the crisis deepens in Maharashtra. Here are the details.
The Shiv Sena national executive meeting chaired by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who is firefighting a rebellion led by minister and senior leader Eknath Shinde, adopted six resolutions as the political crisis deepens in Maharashtra.
One resolution stops the rebel camp from 'misusing' Balasaheb's name and the other authorised Uddhav Thackeray to take decisions regarding the organisation in view of the rebellion by Shinde. Here are the full details.
The national executive expressed its gratitude to Chief Uddhav Thackeray for his effective leadership and guidance which has lead to the popularity and respect that the party has attained.

"We strongly condemn the treachery that a few Shiv Sena legislators have displayed and express that the party and its organisation is strongly standing behind party leader Uddhav Thackeray. The party gives all the rights to Thackeray to exercise control over the emerging scenario and to implement decisions required for the same," the resolution read.
"The national executive expresses its pride in the work Uddhav Thackeray has done as the chief minister of Maharashtra and the fame that he has earned for his taking care of the Maharashtra populace during Covid," read the second resolution adopted by the national executive.
"The national executive passes its resolve to ensure Shiv Sena victory in the upcoming municipal corporation, council, panchayat, zilla parishad and panchayat samiti and other local body elections," the third resolution stated.
