Shiv Sena inaugurating incomplete Mumbai metro corridor, alleges BJP
India Today
While the BJP has accused its former ally of inaugurating an 'incomplete' Mumbai metro corridor, Shiv Sena has responded to the charge by saying that the BJP is trying to discredit the Uddhav Thackeray government.
The BJP and Shiv Sena are at it again. This time around, the bone of contention between the two former allies is credit for the inauguration of Mumbai Metro lines.
Ahead of the inauguration of Mumbai Metro lines 2A and 7, the BJP has accused Shiv Sena of inaugurating 'incomplete' projects. Opposition leaders in the state also alleged that the Maharashtra government is taking credit for work initiated during the term of former chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.
"The inauguration will be of incomplete work. The entire stretch of the corridor could have been available a year back, but even a year later, only incomplete work has been presented. It is the incompetence and carelessness of the government that is responsible for the present state," BJP leader Ram Kadam said.

He further accused the Shiv Sena of delaying the work on Metro Line 3.
"How can the reality be ignored that it was the arrogance of the state government which didn't allow the work of the metro car shed project. Mumbai Metro 3 would have been available to the people this year but now won't be available for the next five years," Ram Kadam said.
The BJP has, in fact, put up posters all along the Western Express Highway and Link Road referring to Devendra Fadnavis as the "janak" [initiator] of the metro projects.
