Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi claimed that her party has helped Kashmiri Pandits before and will "save them once again".
Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, who was on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, claimed that the late Balasaheb Thackeray and the party helped Kashmiri Pandits before and will "save them once again."
The legislator's visit to Kashmiri Pandit families comes amid a spate of targeted killings in the Kashmir valley.
She said, "The Centre has totally failed to protect Kashmiri Pandit and Dogra Hindu government employees in the valley. Shiv Sena will go out of the way to help Kashmiri Pandits. It was Shiv Sena and Balasaheb who helped them. We will save them again."
"I also met Kashmiri Pandits who are living in Jagti refugee camp in Jammu. They recalled Balasaheb's help," she added.

Recently, Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray too, voiced concerns about the situation in the valley.
"Maharashtra will back Kashmiri Pandits and will do whatever it takes for them," he said.
