Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray called up Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao who has been rallying Opposition parties against the BJP.
Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray called up his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao as part of Rao's campaign against BJP's alleged anti-people policies.
Uddhav Thackeray extended his support to KCR and invited his counterpart over for lunch on February 20. Thackeray proposed that the future course of action on the issue be discussed when Rao meets him.
According to sources, Uddhav Thackeray appreciated Rao for his 'good work' and said 'we are with you' for raising his voice at the right time against the BJP.
Earlier, Former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) president H D Deve Gowda had called up Rao and extended support.
Rao, who has been critical of the BJP and its government on a number of issues, will have meetings with his Maharashtra and West Bengal counterparts, Uddhav Thackeray and Mamata Banerjee.
