Shirley Setia dubs in Telugu for Krishna Vrinda Vihari. Says it is 'challenging and satisfying'

Shirley Setia is making her Telugu debut with Krishna Vrinda Vihari. The actress has now shared her experience of dubbing in Telugu for her film.

It has been only two years since Shirley Setia made her acting debut, but the actress is slowly trying to create a space for herself in the film industry. After the success of her first OTT film, Maska, Shirley bagged an important role in Nikamma with Abhimanyu Dassani and Shilpa Shetty. While there's time for her Bollywood film to release, the actress is gearing up for her Telugu debut. She will be entering the Telugu film industry with Krishna Vrinda Vihari, for which she has dubbed in Telugu.

In Krishna Vrind Vihari, Shirley Setia is romantically paired opposite Naga Shaurya. For this film, Shirley took up the challenge of dubbing her dialogues in Telugu. Sharing her experience of dubbing for her first Telugu movie, Shirley said, "Dubbing for my first Telugu film is both challenging and satisfying. I would have to thank Mahesh Garu, Usha Mam, and the entire film crew for encouraging me to prep and dub. And also to our director Anish sir, Taj sir and our recording engineer Giri sir for being so patient with me throughout the process."

Earlier, at the teaser launch of Krishna Vrinda Vihari, Shirley Setia had shared her experience of working on the film. "I am extremely nervous today. Please pardon me if I go wrong anywhere. This is my first Telugu film and I am very happy to be a part of this project. I've dubbed for myself in the film. It was tough, but I think the team made the job easy for me. I have had an amazing time being a part of this project. The producer, Usha ma'am, the director Anish sir, made me feel at home. My parents live in New Zealand but I never felt like I was away from my family. They've made me feel so comfortable and have cared for me and I'll be thankful to everyone," she had said.

For the unaware, Krishna Vrinda Vihari is all set to be released on April 22, 2022.
