Shimla receives first snowfall of 2022

Himachal Pradesh's capital, Shimla, received its first snowfall of the year 2022 on Saturday. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded at minus 5.1 degrees Celsius in Lahaul-Spiti's administrative centre, Keylong.

Himachal Pradesh's capital, Shimla city, received its first snowfall of the year on Saturday as most places in the state are reeling under a severe cold wave, the meteorological department said.

Some upper parts of Shimla city, including Jakhoo, Ridge, Benmore and Sanjauli experienced light snowfall on Saturday morning.
