Shelter-in-place order issued in Lac Seul First Nation in northwestern Ontario due to public safety threat

The Lac Seul Police Service and OPP have issued a shelter-in-place order for residents in Kejick Bay, Lac Seul First Nation, due to an ongoing threat to public safety.
Officers are searching for a person who is believed to be armed and dangerous, who was last seen in the community of Kejick Bay, just under 100 kilometres northeast of the City of Dryden in northwestern Ontario.
There will be an increased police presence in the community as the situation evolves, the OPP said in a news release issued at 8 a.m. CT.
