Sheikh Fahad elected Qatar Boxing and Wrestling Federation president

Sheikh Fahad bin Khalid al-Thani was elected president of the Qatar Boxing and Wrestling Federation by acclamation, during the federations regular electoral general assembly, for a new four-year term (2021-2024).Sheikh Fahad won the elections that were held on Wednesday at Lusail Hall of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) in the presence and supervision of QOC’s representatives and attendance of the federation’s Board of Directors and members of the General Assembly. Dr Yousef Ali al-Kazim, Sultan Hassan al-Jamali, Khaled Youssef al-Mas, Abdullah Hamad al-Hajri and Hamad Salem al-Hajri were elected as members of the new board of directors. Eight members contested for the membership of the board.
