Shefali Shah’s directorial debut Someday selected for 51st USA Film Festival

Someday, Shefali Shah’s directorial debut, has been selected for the 51st USA Film Festival in the International Short Film and Video category. The festival will be held from April 21 to April 25.

Shefali Shah’s maiden directorial venture, a short film Someday, has been shortlisted for the 51st USA Film Festival in the International Short Film and Video Competition category. The final round of the competition will take place next week. Shefali Shah’s Neflix series Delhi Crime won the Best Drama Series award at the 48th International Emmy Awards last year. The USA Film Festival is scheduled to take place between April 2 and April 25. The festival recognises and encourages excellence in film and video arts. Talking about Someday being selected for the festival, Shefali Shah said, “Someday is my first trial and error with direction. Our labour of love has made it to the final selection of USA film festival, and I can’t even begin to tell how excited I am. The reason I send it to the festivals across the globe was to see where I stand as a total newcomer in direction. And this is such a big assurance that I must’ve done something right.”
