Allan Border, Nathan Lyon, Merv Hughes, David Boon and former England captain Nasser Hussain and former West Indies batter Brian Lara were among the cricketers who attended Warne's memorial service. Shane's father, Keith Warne and his children Summer and Jackson paid heartfelt tributes to the cricketer, who was known for prioritising his family.
"Shane said of himself, 'I smoked, I drank and I played a little cricket,'" Keith said in his eulogy.
"Mate, your mother and I can't imagine a life without you. You have been taken too soon and our hearts are broken. Thank you for all you did for us."
