Shalin Bhanot raises funds for families of sex workers in Mumbai's Kamathipura

Shalin Bhanot recently visited the red-light district of Mumbai's Kamathipura to distribute ration and daily necessities to the sex workers during the pandemic. He is also raising funds for their families.

The novel coronavirus pandemic has been hard on all of us. However, among the worst affected are the sex workers. Actor Shalin Bhanot, who is gearing up for his OTT debut with Inspector Avinash, recently helped the sex workers of Mumbai's Kamathipura. He shared videos from the red-light area of Mumbai where he can be seen interacting with the inhabitants. He also distributed ration as well as basic necessities to around 100 families of the women there. The actor thanked Sonu Sood for inspiring him and expressed his shock that women solicit themselves for as low as Rs 50.
