Shakira and Gerard Pique to split after she caught him cheating on her: Report

All is not well between Shakira and Gerard Pique after the singer reportedly caught the footballer with another woman.
Pop sensation Shakira and her partner Gerard Pique are reportedly on the verge of separation.
According to a report by Barcelona-based El Periodico, the singer caught her footballer partner cheating on her with another woman. The couple, however, has not commented on the matter yet.
The report further states that Pique has been living alone in Barcelona and moved out of the house he shares with The Hips Don’t Lie singer. The uncontrollable partying is also being touted as another reason behind the split. He, his teammate Riqui Puig and other friends, accompanied by other women, have also been spotted staying out till 2-3 am.
Shakira and Pique met each other during FIFA World Cup 2010 and soon started dating. They also have two children together. The couple, however, did not get married.
The lyrics of Shakira’s new hit song Te Felicito further suggest that all is not well between the couple. “Your wound didn’t open my skin, but it did open my eyes. They’re red from crying so much for you,” the lyrics read when translated to English.
“And now it turns out that you feel it, Sounds sincere, But I know you well and I know you lie,” they further state.
Work-wise, Shakira is currently working on her next album. She is also seen as a judge on the dance reality show Dancing With Myself.
