IPL 2021: Former India opener Virender Sehwag heaped praise on Shahrukh Khan, saying the Punjab Kings big-hitter will make a considerable impact if he is given chances to bat higher up the order.
Former India opener Virender Sehwag seems to be impressed with Tamil Nadu and Punjab Kings big-hitter Shahrukh Khan, saying that he reminds him of a young Kieron Pollard. Shahrukh Khan, who was bought for Rs 5.25 crore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 auction, did show glimpses of his hitting prowess for Punjab Kings before the tournament was suspended due to positive Covid-19 cases. Shahrukh Khan batted at No. 6 for Punjab Kings in IPL 2021 and managed to impress with his fearless approach. Sharukh was able to hit the big ones, consistently and from the word go. His best score was 36-ball 47 against Chennai Super Kings in a losing cause for PBKS. Shahrukh's scores read 6*, 47, 15*, 22, 13, 0 and 4 as he managed a total of 107 runs in 8 matches in the curtailed season.More Related News
