A few days back, Shah Rukh Khan dropped a poster of himself with a logo of what looked like an app called SRK+. It later came about that the same was just a build-up for an ad. SRK+ trended like wildfire on Twitter when Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan participated in the ad game. Today, a new follow up of a previous ad featuring Shah Rukh Khan, his reel manager and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was unveiled. And that is when something ‘haww-worthy’ happened. SRK dropped Anurag’s phone in dal (lentil soup)!
Shah Rukh Khan put out another teaser of an OTT ad featuring Anurag Kashyap. In the video, SRK was seen miffed with Anurag Kashyap for praising other shows and not coming up with a plan for his own OTT project. The clip shared by Shah Rukh Khan had him, his reel manager and Anurag Kashyap. Anurag and SRK are seen relishing a meal when his reel manager reminds him that they need to come up with better ideas for the superstar’s fictional OTT venture. His manager tells them that top web shows hail from Disney+ Hotstar. To which, SRK says that “his name is enough” to be a web sensation.
All the ideas proposed are apparently already on the OTT site. And an irritated SRK drops his mobile in a bowl of dal and lets out a cryptic ‘sorry’ afterwards. Sharing the clip, Shah Rukh wrote, “Dil toh pagal tha, ab dimaag bhi kharaab kar diya @DisneyPlusHS walon ne (sic).” Sushmita Sen and Kirti Kulhari also re-tweeted SRK's tweet since their shows were mentioned by the Bollywood superstar.
Shah Rukh Khan announced his three-year hiatus from films with Pathaan. The actor will lead the project along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Leaked photos of the superstar flaunting eight-pack abs from Spain's schedule of Pathaan recently went viral on the web. Seen yet?
