Seven deaths, 646 Covid-19 cases in Qatar on May 2

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today reported 646 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 1,480 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people recovered in Qatar to 192,551.

Out of 646 new cases, 391 are community cases and 255 from travellers returning from abroad. The ministry also announced seven deaths of people 43, 45, 47, 54, 55, 77 and 81 years of age, taking the total death toll as of today to 472. Six of them had chronic diseases and all of them received necessary medical care, MoPH said.
