Police are asking people to avoid the Lloyd Street area after a serious crash at a busy downtown Sudbury intersection Wednesday morning.
The collision happened at the intersection of Lloyd and Paris streets.
"Westbound lanes of Lloyd Street at Paris Street are closed while officers are on scene," Sudbury police said on social media around 10 a.m.
"Motorists will experience delays and are asked to find an (alternate) route."
Yellow police tape has cordoned off the northbound lanes of Paris Street.
A white car with major front-end damage can be seen in the middle of the northbound lanes of Paris Street and debris can be seen in the eastern half of the intersection.
Meanwhile, a grey pickup truck with apparent damage to the driver's passenger side is parked on the wrong side of Paris Street in the northbound lanes facing south just before the crosswalk and behind police caution tape.
