Sensex, Nifty Edge Higher; Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel Top Movers

Gains in Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Infosys, HDFC Bank and Larsen & Toubro were offset with losses in ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, HDFC, IndusInd Bank and State Bank of India.

The Indian equity benchmarks were little changed on Thursday morning ahead of weekly expiry of index derivative contracts as gains in Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel, Infosys, HDFC Bank and Larsen & Toubro were offset with losses in ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, HDFC, IndusInd Bank and State Bank of India. As of 9:25 am, the Sensex was up 45 points at 54,414 and Nifty 50 index advanced 13 points to 16,272.
