The Punjab police have registered a case against former Minister and senior Bikram Singh Majithia under different sections of the Narcotic Drugs And Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
According to sources, an FIR has been registered in Mohali.
Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu tweeted, “An FIR has been registered in Punjab Police Crime Branch against the main culprits of the drugs trade on the basis of February 2018 Special Task Force (STF report), wherein I demanded this 4 years ago - It is a slap on the face of all those powerful who slept for years on issues at the heart of Punjab’s soul.”
The event will run daily from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., offering a variety of activities. Visitors can enjoy dance and music performances, hands-on art experiences, film screenings, and exhibitions from 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. These will feature folk cuisines, leather puppets, philately, textiles, and handicrafts.
