Senate polling averages 17 days from Election Day indicate Republicans may win majority

Senate polling and voting models ahead of the 2022 midterm election show the Republican Party has reason to be optimistic ahead of Election Day.
On Monday, the New York Times/Siena College's latest poll showed Republicans in a four-point lead, 49% to 45%, over Democrats when voters were asked whom they favored to represent them in Congress.
