A large crowd took to the Wortley Village Green in London, Ont., to dance, sing, eat and learn on National Indigenous Peoples Day.
Wednesday's sunrise ceremony kicked off the festivities, with a full day of planned to celebrate the cultures of nearby First Nations.
London is located on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron. The city is neighbours with Chippewas of the Thames, Oneida Nation of the Thames and Munsee-Delaware First Nation.
