Security personnel from viral ‘sunshine’ video honoured for raising traffic awareness

The General Traffic Department, has represented by the Traffic Awareness Department, honored two security personnel for their efforts in regulating traffic around Lycee Francais Bonaparte school in the Dafna area.
The recipients of the award, Abu Bakr Saeed Bui and Abu Bakr Ali Muhammad, were honoured for their dedication to duty in regulating traffic and contributing to the smooth flow of traffic.
The security personnel were seen helping pedestrians cross the road in a cheerful manner while holding the stop sign and bumping elbows with children and residents in a widely circulated video on social media.
The video was shared by @WameDoha on Twitter, who called the security personnel ‘Mr Sunshine’, and said, "These are the people who, when you see them from afar, give you a smile.”
