
Section of southbound DVP closed after 6-vehicle crash, police say

The southbound Don Valley Parkway is closed at Bayview/Bloor ramps after a reported 6-vehicle crash, Toronto police said.
The crash happened on the DVP and Eastern Avenue around 5:27 a.m., police said in a post on X. There are unknown injuries.
A separate three-vehicle collision happened on the Gardiner Expressway E. and York Street around 5:34 a.m., police said. There are no reports of injuries and drivers are advised to consider alternate routes.
Paramedics said they are responding to multiple collisions over the city on Tuesday morning. Most of the incidents are fender-benders and none involve life-threatening injuries, they said.
Slippery road conditions and patches of black ice have been reported at multiple locations, paramedics said.
Toronto saw light snow early Tuesday, which is expected to end in the morning, according to Environment Canada. Around 2 cm of snow is expected to fall.
