London Police have arrested a second suspect in relation to the death of Western University student Gabriel Neil.
Police say 19-year-old Haroun Raselma turned himself in on Tuesday morning after an outstanding Canada-wide warrant was issued in September.
Police say they were called to the area of Western Road and Sarnia Road at around 2 a.m. on Sept. 11, when they found 18-year-old Gabriel Neil suffering from serious injuries.
Neil, who was from Simcoe, Ont., died the following day as a result of injuries he sustained during the assault near the university campus. He was a first-year student at Western.
On Sept. 12, police arrested 21-year-old Aliyan Ahmed of London, Ont. He has been charged with manslaughter and is out on bail.
A publication ban has been imposed on all evidence in the proceedings.
Raselma is charged with manslaughter and is expected to make a first court appearance on Tuesday.
