SpaceX's next-generation Starship spacecraft atop its powerful Super Heavy rocket booster launches from the company's Boca Chica, Texas, launchpad on an uncrewed test flight on Nov. 18 2023. The spacecraft was presumed failed in space a few minutes later.
SpaceX's uncrewed spacecraft Starship, developed to carry astronauts to the moon and beyond, was presumed to have failed in space minutes after lifting off on Saturday in a second test after its first attempt to reach space ended in an explosion.
