SDMC has established 'Nutrition Gardens' in 48 of its schools and plans to establish 100 more.
South Delhi Municipal Corporation has started 'Nutrition Gardens' in 48 of its schools along the lines of the Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman (PM Poshan) Scheme. The Ministry of Human Resource Development (GOI) has started the PM Poshan Scheme with the motive of making school children aware of the utility and nutrition value of seasonal fruits & vegetables.
