A scuffle broke out between TRS and BJP activists during an event in the Nizamabad district of Telangana on Thursday.
A scuffle broke out between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) activists in the Nizamabad district of Telangana on Thursday. TRS workers allegedly tried to obstruct the event organised by the BJP, which eventually led to a scuffle.
The incident took place during an event organised by the BJP in the Burgul village of Nizamsagar Mandal.
Police reached the spot immediately and tried to control the situation. The workers allegedly pushed an assistant sub-inspector while he was trying to stop the clash between workers of both parties.
According to the police, the situation is under control. “The BJP workers have given a call to unfurl the party flag at Burgul Village today. We are on the ground to avoid any untoward incident”, said the police.
