Scolded For Not Doing The Dishes, Teen Beats Mother To Death With Griddle

The woman, Anuradha, was in her mid 30s and had been working in the supply department of a firm in Greater Noida

A 14-year-old girl allegedly beat her mother to death with a frying pan after she was scolded for not washing utensils, Noida police have said.

Police have registered a case under Section 304 - culpable homicide not amounting to murder - and taken the teenager into custody. She has been sent to a correctional home.

The incident came to light on Sunday night when the woman's bloodied body was recovered from their 14th floor flat at an apartment complex in Noida's Sector 77. Several parts of the body had marks of injuries, including the head.

The woman was identified as Anuradha. She was in her mid 30s and had been working in the supply department of a firm in Greater Noida.
